The costs of a college education are constantly increasing. However, a number of financial assistance programs are available to help students absorb these costs. Through a variety of scholarship, grant, and educational loan programs, Biola seeks to make every effort possible to assist students who cannot meet the costs of a college education by themselves or with assistance from their parents. A description of these programs may be found in the FINANCIAL INFORMATION section of the Biola General Catalog. Financial assistance may also be obtained through part time employment while enrolled in college. Biola maintains an Office of Student Employment to assist students in finding jobs both on and off campus.

How?

All students desiring to apply for financial assistance must (1) submit the enclosed FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE APPLICATION and (2) arrange for their parents to file the PARENTS' CONFIDENTIAL STATEMENT Self-supporting and married students may file a STUDENT'S FINANCIAL STATEMENT California residents who have already submitted a Parents' Confidential Statement as part of the State Scholarship application and have requested that a copy be sent to Biola College need not submit another copy.

When?

The deadline for having your complete application for financial assistance on file with Biola College is April 1st. Parents' Confidential Statements or Student's Financial Statements should be submitted to College Scholarship Service by mid-February to allow adequate time for processing.
