DEPARTMENT OF NURSING EDUCATION Obiective. Biola is offering Nursing Education to young women who wish to fol low this chosen career into satisfying areas of service at home and abroad. It is the outgrowth of fourteen years of developing a missionary nursing program in Biola School of Missionary Medicine. It is hoped that it will be training many young women who will be called into missionary nursing service in the needy areas of the whole world. The program is presented on a collegiate level and presently planned over a full four year (48 months) period of time. The student will be in residence on the college campus for two years and one summer and then on the School of Missionary Medi cine campus and the affiliated hospitals for two y ears and three summer sessions. The graduate will receive a baccalaureate degree from the college. She will then be qualified to sit for the California State Board Examinations for the R.N. certificate.
