Prerequisite: 206 or 210. 416 LEARNING AND MOTIVATION (4) An examination of empirical findings and theoretical developments in the areas of conditioning, skill learning, transfer, retention, drive, needs arousal, and the function of rewards; laboratory sessions. Prerequisite: 205, 206 or 210. Alternate years, offered 1969-70. 470 FIELD STUDY (1-3) Special research program for those taking the summer European tours. Involves ob­ servation, interviews, analysis of r esearch literature, and the writing of a paper. Prerequisite: 205 and consent of instructor.
