DIVISION OF HUMANITIES
The Division of Humaniti es, in addi tion to majors in English, Spanish, and Speech, offers two divisional majors: The Humanities major and the Hu manities major in Language Arts. Humaniti es Major : 30 units, of which 24 must be upper division; an 18-unit concentration in one field (German , Greek, Spanish, Literature, or Philoso phy ) , of which 12 must be upper divi sion; and 6 upper divi sion units in each of two remaining fields (French, German, Greek, Spanish, Literature, Philosophy, or Speech ) . Selection of the Literature concentration must he made from the Literature listing in cluding English 201 and 202. The Phi losophy concentration must include Philosophy 301 and any two of the following courses: 302, 303, or 404.
