What objection did Ananias give to the Lord when he was ordered to visit Saul? (w . 13, 14.) 3. What answer did the Lord give to Ananias? (w . 15, 16.) 4. To what groups of people was the Apostle to minister? (v. 15.) 5. What was to be the nature of the Apostle’s life as a missionary? (v. 16.) Is there a sense in which this is true of every believer? (Study Rom. 6:1-5.) Note in the Romans passage that the believer is fully identified with Christ in His three experiences — death, burial, resurrection—each of these typified in water baptism. 8. How do we know that this new Christian loved the fellowship of the saints? (v. 19.) Should every Christian love to attend his church? (cp. Heb. 10:- 25.) 9. Paul believed, received the Holy Spirit, was baptized, united with the church, and what did he do next? (v. 20.) Do you think every believer ought to witness for Christ? (Acts 1:8; Matt. 28:- 18-20.) Are you bold in witnessing for the Saviour? 10. Why was Paul able to confound the Jews in Damascus? (v. 22.) It was because he knew God’s Word so well, wasn’t it? We live in an age of domestic disintegration, of broken homes and semi- orphaned children. This is a most serious threat to pdr nation and“ the church. Young people today need to be won to Christ and then need to be instructed from the Word of God how to build Christian homes. Thus this lesson. STUDY QUESTIONS 1. According to the Word of God should a believer ever marry an unbe­ liever? (2 Cor. 6:14-18.) Why not? Write the answers to this question on the board and try to find Scripture for every an­ swer. 2. Does the Old Testament also teach the necessity of separation from unbe­ lievers in matters of spiritual and marital affinity? (cp. Deut. 7:1-11.) 3. What reason is given by the Lord for a believer never marrying an unbe­ liever? (Deut. 7:4.) What further reason is given? (v. 6.) What part does gratitude to God have in a young person never marrying an unbeliever? (w . 7, 8.) 4. What was the sia in the days of Ezra that brought the judgment of God upon His people? (Ezra 9:1, 2.) What did Ezra do when he found out what the people had done? (w . 3-15.) What event marked a real revival among the people of God? (Ezra 10:1-3.) 5.
