Melinda Montgomery serves as the Sr. Director of Engineering & Advanced Analytics for SERC. Her teams oversee SERC’s data collection and analytics, as well as working with stakeholders in developing planning models and performing engineering studies and assessments through SERC’s technical committees and subgroups. Her background includes 20 years of industry experience in system operations and planning. She holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering, as well as a Master of Science in Engineering from Tulane University, New Orleans. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering degree from Christian Brothers University in Memphis.
