Don started in the power industry in 1973 with Pennsylvania Electric Company as an operator at Keystone Generating Station. His power plant operations experience includes working as a Control Room Operator and Shift Supervisor for Sunflower Electric Cooperative at their Holcomb Station. After leaving plant operations, Don worked for General Physics Corporation as a Senior Training Consultant and simulator instructor. He continued his training career with Delmarva Power & Light before accepting a position in system operations as a Power System Controller. This experience allowed him to relocate back to Pennsylvania as a Power Director and Reliability Engineer for PJM at their new control center in western Pennsylvania. Don joined ReliabilityFirst in January 2008 where he has been involved in compliance audits, spot checks, investigations, registration, certifications and risk assessment. He has led RF’s cold weather readiness program since 2014.
