Edison Township Public Schools honored Veterans Day with districtwide observances that recognized the courage, commitment, and service of our nation’s veterans.Woodbrook Elementary School’s students and staff welcomed Assistant Principal Dr. Narvaez with a heartfelt clap-in to mark his return from an eight-month deployment abroad with the United States Air Force . Benjamin Franklin Elementary School also welcomed Marine Corps veterans Patrick Kissane and Rob Robinson , who spoke with students about their experiences in the military and the importance of service. Their visit provided students with an opportunity to learn directly from those who have served, and the school community extends its sincere thanks to them for sharing their time and stories.
