Pepino has a notebook to write what he shouldn't do, but he prefers to use it as a diary. He keeps notes about his platonic love, Lady Mariana, and his oddball friend, Luzcle. He also describes the time his parents sent him to watch the ducks go by, and what happens in Mexico City during the period of the exploits of Pancho Villa and other Revolutionary heroes.

Lesley, a young journalist, travels to Venice to interview the famous violinist Paolo Levi. She knows she must not ask him the Mozart question, but she does anyway. Still, instead of canceling the interview, the artist decides to tell her the chilling and moving story of Paolo's parents and how music saved their lives during the war.
Heidi is only five years old when she becomes orphaned and her aunt Dete must take her to live with her grandfather, who resides as a hermit in Mayenfeld, a remote town of the Swiss Alps. The girl soon establishes a special relationship with the old man, whilst she shares adorable adventures with Pedro, a local boy who herds goats. Heidi's life runs smoothly until she has to go back to the city with her auntie.
Tete, Chirris, Carlangas, Suárez, and Pelón are a group of friends about to finish elementary school. In addition to their friendship, their love of soccer, wandering around the neighborhood, and getting into mischief, the children also share a fascination for Dulcemaría. One day, a business deal that seems very good is offered to them, and they will accept it without suspecting the trap that is waiting for them.
