Solar panels
us that we will continue to use fossil fuels and any extra energy we produce will be treated like a bonus. A tax of £100 per ton of CO 2 produced will kill two birds with one stone by creating a cash flow to fund the project, while also gradually reducing the use of fossil fuels. All this seems technologically manageable, so the challenge we are left with is trust, which in the Anthropocene we are yet to display on a global scale. The International Space Station has proved the world can work together on a small scale as one, now we just need to show that we can do the same on our planet.
