Also, nonprofit staff, including career coaches and case managers, may face burnout due to high caseloads Improved staff training, compensation, and sustainability is critical to prevent burnout and maintaining high quality support. Also, build a robust alumni community can provide ongoing support, mentorship, and inspiration for current students, while also creating a feedback loop to improve programming. Stronger Employer Partnerships for Long-Term Career Growth would lead to great success for our mission because it can deepen relationships with employers who are committed to hiring for potential, investing in and complex client needs— especially post-pandemic.

The purpose of STRIVE that I am most passionate about is helping individuals overcome barriers to employment and build a life of stability, purpose, and dignity. So many of the people we serve come economic hardship, or simply a lack of opportunity—and what inspires me most is STRIVE’s belief that none of that defines a person’s future. to us carrying burdens—past mistakes, systemic injustice,

employee development, and reducing bias in hiring and promotion.
