I worry deeply about the future of our youth—especially young men— who are most impacted by these systemic injustices. - Yes, it’s essential to develop multiple skills training options that serve a variety of sectors, ensuring individuals are prepared for diverse career paths and emerging job markets. - Building partnerships with employers across all sectors is vital to your success. Developing skills training programs that align with employers’ needs not only boosts job placement rates but also strengthens and enriches those relationships over time.

The core idea should be to operationalize the vision. For example, Define clear objectives (break down the vision into smaller measurable goals). Set a SMART goals. Develop a strategic plan (Identify strategic initiatives, prioritize initiatives, and build a road map) and lastly, allocate resources and execute the plan (turn strategy into action, foster accountability, maintain momentum (ex. schedule regular meetings to review progress and address any challenges in timely manner).

- What makes me most proud of STRIVE’s work is its success in training and placing individuals— especially returning citizens who face significant barriers—into meaningful employment. - STRIVE is unique in its approach to workforce development by offering career solutions tailored to individuals facing employment barriers. Its comprehensive model includes tuition-free skills training, job readiness preparation, and personal growth support that helps participants confront self-limiting beliefs. STRIVE also provides ongoing support services and connects individuals to meaningful, long-term employment opportunities.
