7 While I would recommend STRIVE because of its strong mission and meaningful impact in the community, I believe there is a critical need to increase staff pay and provide more consistent support for frontline team members. The work is deeply rewarding but also demanding, and in order to sustain high-quality service to participants, staff need to feel valued, supported, and fairly compensated. Investing in the people who carry out the mission every day is essential to long-term organizational success. 7 I chose 10 because STRIVE truly delivers on its mission to transform lives through workforce development. This isn’t just a program—it’s a life-changing experience. From the moment someone walks through the door, they’re met with structure, support, and high expectations. STRIVE helps individuals discover their potential, build confidence, and prepare for real success— not just in a job, but in life. I’ve seen people come in feeling unsure and leave empowered— with skills, a plan, and a renewed sense of purpose. The staff genuinely cares, the curriculum is powerful, and the results speak for themselves. STRIVE doesn’t just prepare you for a job—it prepares you for a future.
