Spirit whom an individual receives the moment by faith he receives J e sus Christ as Saviour. He needs day by day infilling as well. Here, how ever, the Word rather refers to zeal or enthusiasm for the Lord. The Bible tells us to be zealous unto good works. Too often the attitude we hear expressed is, “What’s in it for me?” or “What will be my cut?” The Bible tells us, “Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do i t with all thy might.” Then we are to be an example of the believer in faith. Faith is based THE COST You say it will cost much to follow, But what will it cost to refuse? You may gain the world and its glories. But what if your soul you thus lose? You say He may call you to follow, Leaving all that to you is so dear, Yea, even to give your own life blood, That souls still in darkness may hear. If you were to thus follow the Master, On the altar, all things must be laid, He gave His own life as a ransom, His blood your redemption has paid. Be sure you count the cost rightly. Putting value where value should be. If you put Jesus first and His glory, All things will be added to thee. — Flora L. Osgood upon settled fact: it’s not concerned about emotions or whims. I t is com pletely founded upon the Word of God. The Lord never makes any mis takes. He always keeps His word. Finally, we’re to be examples of the believer in purity. You know this is an extremely dirty age in which we’re living. The humor of the day always seem to carry double and filthy meanings. A never-ending stream of sexually warped pornog raphy books lines the shelves of stores of every type. Motion pictures, ra dio, television, every means of mass communication, is slanted towards trying to get the mind to think im

pure thoughts. Proverbs wisely tells us, “Keep thy heart with all diligence for out of it are the issues of all life.” You have no doubt heard how they capture the little ermine? By nature this small creature so values its pure white fu r that it will do almost any thing to keep from getting it soiled. Trappers know that if they daub the ermine’s hole with mud or pitch that when it runs for safety it will hesi tate before entering its home, fear ing the possibility of getting dirty. So it’s often caught. Would to God that we so valued our robes of right eousness which Christ has given us that we might remain pure and spot less from the things of this world! The Word of God exhorts us, “Keep thy heart pure.” If ever there were a message which needs to be sounded forth clearly today, it’s this! God grant that we may truly be examples in our lives today and each hour until our Lord Jesus Christ comes again! (Continued from page 2) OTHER STATES Albuquerque, New Mexico KARA 1310 8:00 A.M.
