What We’re Looking Forward to in 2020! New Services and More Space to Grow

Happy New Year! It’s incredible how quickly 2019 flew by, isn’t it? As fast as it felt, I’m ready for 2020. There are a lot of exciting new updates on the horizon, all of which we’re implementing with you and your practice in mind. One of these exciting updates is the expansion of our office. Thanks to you, Profitable PPOs is growing, and in order to bring on more people to better serve our clients, we need more space. Fortunately, we don’t have to go anywhere. We’re utilizing additional space right next to us that doubles our square footage and gives us the space we need to perform at our best. With this expansion, we’re also launching two new services aimed at providing practices with the focused, specific services that maximize PPO participation with exactly the support they need! First off, we’re offering a stand-alone credentialing service that will facilitate getting providers into networks and handling all the paperwork. This focused service is perfect for past clients who don’t need our additional services. Secondly, we’re offering a no-risk, PPO-fee improvement service. With this no-risk service, the client doesn’t pay unless we successfully improve their fees. We’ll do an initial analysis, go over our findings, and, from there, represent the client in talking with various dental insurance companies. Through that process, we won’t charge unless there’s an improvement in the client’s fees.

In addition to these exciting updates, the new year also brings changes within insurance affiliations. In the last few weeks, you’ve probably gotten a letter letting you know of these updates. Changes in insurance relationships will impact your practice, but the impact will vary depending on a number of factors. If you notice that Aetna or Guardian started using a different fee schedule, we’ll help you assess whether it’s positive or negative for you and how to respond. Insurance relationships change every year, and right now, it’s hard to know how the changes will affect your practice. It takes a few months before we can see the timeline of the implementation and the financial plan. We won’t know right away whether the relationship changes are a good thing or a bad thing, but give us a chance to see how it impacts you. In the coming months, be on the lookout, as we’ll also have some online education events on Look for those dates to be announced soon.

Here’s to a happy and healthy new year and to making your PPOs even more profitable in 2020!
