Painting & Drawing

INTRODUCTION TO DRAWING

This class is designed to guide students to find their inner artist and explore conscious and subconscious ideas – much like painters throughout history have found inspiration. The class is suitable for all levels and includes basic instruction for using oil paints as well as composition, subject matter, and concepts. FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION THROUGH OIL PAINTING

Introduction to Drawing covers the basic principles and elements of design and teaches you how to create an appealing composition and observe the natural world and create imaginary ones. This is a drawing class for beginners and the assignments given the first half of the term are based on exploring those principles and elements of design while the second half of the term focuses on putting into action what you’ve learned.
