The data includes results of Grade 9-level academic and applied math, and Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test scores. VCI’s rating for the 2017/18 term was PVUPG BOJODSFBTFGSPNJUTQSFWJPVT CFTUSBUJOHCZUIF'SBTFS*OTUJUVUFPWFS the past five school years. STA was scored at 8.6 out of 10 for the 2017/18, a slight increase from its previous best of 8.1 from the institute’s past five years of evaluations. The Fraser Institute evaluated 738 Onta- rio secondary schools based on provincial government data collected over the 2017-18 school year. &/#3&'r#3*&'4 FLOOD BENEFIT CONCERT RETURNS A benefit concert, first organized in 2017 in order to collect funds for residents of Clarence-Rockland affected by the flooding Ottawa River, will once again take place on May 18. “We have already started the ball rolling,” said co-organizer Eric Michael Hawks. “In 2017, over $10,000 were raised and part of these funds were used to establish the 2-1-1 Disaster call center, and help various organiza- tions in our area.” More information regarding the event will be available in the coming days. – Francis Racine L’Institut Fraser a publié son classement annuel des écoles secondaires de l’Ontario, ceux qui permettent de comparer les résul- tats scolaires des écoles de la province. L’école secondaire publique L’Héritage à Cornwall a obtenu le meilleur classement dans la région avec une marque de 7.4/10 et 148e sur 738. L’Académie de la Sei- HOFVSJF EV$&1&0 Æ$BTTFMNBO OBQBT été incluse dans le classement de l’Institut Fraser.
L’Institut, en faisant son classement, prend également en considération le pour- centage d’élèves ayant des besoins spéciaux et des difficultés d’apprentissage, ainsi que la différence de rendement scolaire entre les sexes.

L’Institut Fraser, un groupe de réflexion conservateur de la Colombie-Britannique, a publié les résultats de son évaluation annuelle des écoles publiques de l’Ontario, en fonction des résultats des tests et d’autres données pour l’année scolaire 2017- 2018.
