Reeder & Vermaat began in 1977 when founders Charlie Reeder and Bill Vermaat set out to build a different kind of manufacturers’ representative group—one defined by integrity, expertise, and genuine partnership. In the company’s first year, Charlie was diagnosed with cancer and tragically passed away. Bill honored their shared vision by carrying the mission forward, spending countless weeks on the road and building the foundation of what Reeder & Vermaat has become today. As Bill often jokes, “Starting a manufacturers’ rep business in May was one of the silliest things I’ve ever done.” From the very beginning, Bill committed to surrounding himself with the best people in the industry. He hand-selected talent one individual at a time, focusing on character, technical expertise, and reputation. Over nearly five decades, only fifteen people have ever worked for Reeder & Vermaat—each chosen with intention and each helping shape the strength of the company. This deliberate approach created one of the most respected field teams in the industry and cultivated lasting relationships with top-tier manufacturers. Many of our vendor partners have been with us for more than 15 years, a testament to our consistency, reliability, and commitment to excellence. For decades, Reeder & Vermaat has held itself to a higher standard—and our manufacturers have recognized and valued that dedication. As Bill planned for the future, one of his final major steps was ushering in a new generation of leadership—his “youth movement”—to ensure that Reeder & Vermaat continues to thrive for decades to come.
Today, that legacy is carried forward by Pat McNamara, Jim Assemany, Sam Coleman, Tim Breuning, Dane Hudlik, Allen Lamacz, and Hayden Stinnett.

Basecrete is a high-performance waterproof bondcoat system designed to create a durable, flexible barrier on a wide range of surfaces. It protects concrete structures from water infiltration, chemicals, salts, and corrosive agents, maintaining its integrity even under significant movement. Ideal for both new construction and repair, Basecrete delivers industry-leading protection for pools, spas, and industrial applications requiring long-term resistance and structural durability. INTERCEPT is a highly penetrating concrete densifier used as the primary waterproofing for pool shells and other concrete structures. It penetrates deep into the concrete matrix, filling voids and bonding with free calcium and lime to form a dense, waterproof colloi- dal silicate gel—while still allowing the concrete to breathe. INTERCEPT is applied with a low-pressure sprayer in two quick coats, with all excess material removed immediately to prevent surface drying.

Fibers are coated with resin polymers to enhance their resistance to attack by alkalinity of mixtures containing Portland cement.

Boxer Adhesives has built a longstanding reputation since the 1950s for delivering high-quality vinyl repair kits designed to bond and mend vinyl plastics reliably—even underwater.
Vinyl Repair Kits For quick and easy vinyl repairs without liquid adhesive, use Boxer Vinyl Plastic Pool Patches. This is a clear tape where you peel off the paper backing and apply immediately. Vinyl Plastic Pool Patches are excellent for other applications such as vinyl upholstery and waterbeds.
Vinyl Adhesive For deep underwater repairs, apply adhesive to patch and fold patch over upon itself. When you reach the damaged area under water unfold patch and apply im- mediately to liner, squeezing out all water bubbles. Do not disturb patch for at least 48 hours. Allow 4-7 days for a full cure.
Epoxy Kits This is our finest all-purpose epoxy. WORKS UNDER- WATER and mends almost anything, anywhere. Mend cracks in concrete, replace loose tile, even use as a grout. Will not adhere to vinyl plastic. Consistency of peanut butter, but white in color.

POINT BONDING Point bonding is a pro- cess used in polyester spun-bonded filtration media where a patterned roller creates small welded dimples that lock fibers together for strength while still allowing flexibility. These welds help form an effective filter cake in pool and spa filters, improving particle capture and water flow around the bonded points. When the filter becomes dirty, the uniform weld pattern makes it easier to clean by helping debris release instead of fully clogging the media.
ONCORE’S WEB LOFT uses fine, high- density polyester fibers to create many small, consistent pores that trap debris quickly and deliver cleaner water faster. Surface welds don’t penetrate fully, al- lowing water to flow through the entire media loft. This design provides more fiber surface area and superior filtration compared to competitors.
