Gymnastics: Tumbling Level 1-2 • AGES 6-13 Tumbling develops coordination, strength, balance and self-confidence. Level 1 is for children who are new to tumbling. Form and positions will be taught at this level in addition to forward and backward roll, straddle roll, dive roll, lunge to handstand, cartwheel and bridge. Class is commonly repeated for multiple sessions before the instructor recommends moving up to Tumbling 2. Tumbling 2 students will learn handstand forward roll, front limber, back walkover and round off. Instructors reserve the right to move students to appropriate levels. Participants must be 6 years old by September 1, 2025. We follow the curriculum designed by Learn To Skate USA; each level builds upon the skills already mastered. A mandatory $20 membership fee set by Learn To Skate USA is included in the cost of the class. We suggest wearing helmets, gloves/mittens, athletic-like pants, and a warm jacket. We offer skate rental for $24 for each 7-week session or $4 weekly. Free practice times for all class times and one makeup allowed per session. Ice Skating: Rocket Ice • AGES 4-14 The goal at Rocket Ice Arena is to provide a fun and safe environment for skaters to learn to skate and to be able to continue on in hockey or figure skating. From tot and up, lessons are presented in concise levels with each one focusing on skills that will serve as building blocks for future levels. After demonstrating mastery in one level, the student skater may proceed to the next. The curriculum works in conjunction with USFS Basic Skills Program that is taught in quality rinks worldwide. Please wear athletic pants and fleece jacket or similar fitted and warm jacket and bring gloves. Helmets are recommended. We have skates available to rent.
