SUMMER BREAK CAMPS
Kids First Softball Camp • AGES 7-14 This camp challenges both new and experienced players using competitive softball drills and games that maximize player potential. Players learn skills in pitching, fielding, running, batting and throwing. Proper body balance and first-step directional movements are emphasized. Parents are invited to the championship game on the final day of camp. Players should bring their glove and a water bottle. In case of rainout, time is added equally to remaining sessions. The program consists of body-balance techniques and speed and quickness and agility drills designed to produce a safer, more powerful athlete. Kids First Track & Field Fundamentals Camp • AGES 5-14 Camp introduces young participants to the timed events that make up the sport of track and field. Coaches teach sprints, hurdles, jumps, distance running and throws in a safe and fundamental way. Participants learn new techniques and strengthen existing skills.
