Early Childhood Baby Rock • AGES 3M-BUT LESS THAN 1 Wiggle and giggle with Baby Rock! This program is a unique combination of sensory experiences with stimulating music and exercises to help strengthen and stretch your baby. Activities will include sing-alongs, exposure to simple instruments and sensory props, bean bag massages, motion exercises, bubbles, and more! Li’l Busy Bees • AGES 1 1/2-3 Li’l Busy Bees is designed with toddlers in mind. This parent and child program focuses on having fun while engaging in hands-on experiences. Each week brings new activities for children to explore through art, music, sensory activities and movement, with an opportunity for both parent and child to socialize and form new friendships. Infants in carriers are welcome. No class April 22. Participants have the opportunity to ease into being independent in a classroom setting, with an environment that helps them feel safe and secure in their surroundings. To start, each child will have a parent in their class while they take the time to familiarize themselves with the classroom, the class routine and develop a relationship with their teacher. During the final 2 weeks of the program, participants transition to attending class on their own; this transition may be adjusted to fit the needs of the class. Wiggle, giggle, dance and sway, have some fun the Rock ‘n’ Kids way! This interactive class has everyone on their feet! Tot Rock and Kid Rock are movement-based learning and imaginative play classes with music. Activities include songs and rhymes, rhythm and coordination, fine and gross motor, imagination and sensory, and listening and following directions. New curriculum is presented each session. Each week is an exciting new adventure with changing themes, music, and games. Club members learn theater terms and gain enhanced spontaneity and self-esteem. Jackson Ave. 114943 Apr 9-May 21 Th 4:30-5:15 pm $84/$114 Little Ones Creating with Clay • AGES 4-6 The little creative ones will have a blast using colorful foam-air-dry-clay to shape land and sea animals, favorite flowers, and other familiar items to create frame-able art, character figures and even make cute keychains. The non-toxic material is super easy to clean up and will harden over time. Kids can color their finished projects with paint pens before bringing them home. All the clay, decorations, and art supplies are included, and they’re all non-toxic!
