At Barstow Unified School District, our goal is to be your "Best Choice for Academic Success." To allow principals to focus on instructional leadership, the district created the School Administrative Manager (SAM) position. The SAM is a management professional responsible for the overall non-instructional operations of the school. By managing daily complexities, the SAM allows educational leaders more time in the classroom. The SAM ensures the campus runs smoothly and safely through a variety of responsibilities such as, Campus Safety & Operations, Student Support, Logistics & Facilities, Supervision, and Community Liaison. The SAM is essential for a positive school environment, coordinating tasks from state testing and intramural sports to cafeteria programs. We are proud to have these dedicated professionals working behind the scenes to ensure every Barstow student has a safe, organized, and supportive place to learn.
