Australian Butterfly Sanctuary can offer a live butterfly release at your Hilton Cairns Wedding on the Waterfront. Butterflies are placed into small decorative boxes or envelopes for you and your guests to release at an appropriate time. There is a choice of individual or mass releases. The types of butterflies that you could expect in a release are Cruiser Butterflies, Common egg Butterflies, Red Lace Wing Butterflies, Orange Lace Wing Butterflies, Lurcher Butterflies & Orchard Butterflies. The varieties will vary depending on seasonality and availability.

Experience the luxury and romance of a spacious en suite bathroom and large private balcony offering spectacular cityscape, ocean or mountain views. Marvel at the picturesque views while delighting in the company of your newly-wed spouse.

The Hilton Blue Horizon Chapel is an exclusive, purpose built, non-denominational wedding chapel situated on the stunning foreshore of Trinity Inlet. This is a state of the art wedding chapel featuring all glass walls with a canopy of sails suggesting a vista similar to a grand sailing ship. The entire chapel is set in a reflecting pond; the happy couple look out over an infinity waterfall that flows from the reflection pond with views taking in the magnificent grounds of the Hilton Cairns and further on, to the waters of Trinity inlet. The chapel is approximately 60 square meters in size and is fully air conditioned for guests comfort. There is individual seating for 36 guests, with the option to remove some seating to accommodate up to 75 guests inside the chapel. There is additional standing room outside the chapel, with speakers to enable those guests to hear the ceremony, and of course, they can watch the ceremony by standing at the edge of the water feature and looking back into the chapel through the glass windows.
