I went to Denver Stock Show for the first time in 2016. I ended up attending the SimMagic on Ice Sale and wanted to find something to bring home as this would be our first embryos. I studied the dams in that catalog quite a bit and found one I really liked. Miss Star Above now has 130 offspring registered to her name, including TL Bottomline and TL Ledger. They were selling 3 embryos by her and profit that night and I ended up getting them. I asked Chris Effling after the sale if I did alright getting these, he said, “Oh wow, I didn’t realize she had embryos on the sale, do you wanna sell them?” I said, “Well not anymore!” LoL.. It ended up a great investment. We stuck 2 embryos and the dam of these two bulls was our WWFS Supreme Champion Heifer, TSA Miss Star Bright. I saved a flush on her and finally got around to putting them in. As you can see I wish I had more. Two excellent full brothers that are very correct and have that Lock n Load look. Moderate, easy doing cattle that never go out of style. Thyen Simmentals will retain ⅓ semen interest in Lott 33, TSA Mr. Lock N599.
