Iza nas je godina koja je za mnoge bila kobna: niz očekivanih hitova podbacio je na blagajnama, dok je „Warner Bros.“ ostvario svoj najbolji rezultat još od 2019, sa preko četiri milijarde dolara u američkim bioskopima. Nekoliko značajnih naslova pomereno je iz prethodne godine, među njima biografski film „Majkl“, nastavak „Mor- tal Kombata“ i rediteljski debi Megi Džilenhol, „Franken- štajnova nevesta“. Uz nešto optimističnije prognoze ovo su najiščekivaniji filmovi 2026. godine. W ith award season in full swing and the tri- umphant march of the third instalment of Avatar continuing, major studios are already making strategic plans for the projects that will mark the year ahead — those for which they have the highest hopes of financial gain. We have left behind a year that proved fatal for many, with a number of expected hits failing miserably at the box office, while Warner Bros. achieved its best result since 2019, gener- ating over four billion dollars in U.S. cinemas alone. Several notable releases were delayed from the previous year, including the biopic Michael and Maggie Gyllenhaal’s direc- torial debut The Bride! With forecasts for 2026 slightly more optimistic, here we present the year’s most highly anticipat- ed movies.

U naslovnoj ulozi nalazi se pevačev nećak Džafar Džekson. Film navodno uključuje do sada neviđene rekonstruk- cije koncerata, kao i specijalno kreirane plesne sekvence pod nadzorom originalnih saradnika Majkla Džeksona. In this era that’s seeing the hyperproduction of biopics, it was in- evitable that we would end up with the story of Michael Jack- son, despite the controversy. The production exceeded the initial budget, while production company Lionsgate is still considering the possibility of using some of the material for another film. The title role was entrusted to the singer's nephew, Jaafar Jackson. The film reportedly includes never-before-seen reenactments of concerts, as well as specially created dance sequences that were supervised by Michael Jackson’s original collaborators.
