U Beogradu i Novom Sadu okupiće se vr- hunski umetnici i trupe sa različitih strana sveta. Majstori pokreta, zanatli- je najdragocenijih instrumenata, otvori- će teme koje analiziraju aktuelne pojave i društvo, svedočeći iznova o beskrajnim mogućno- stima igre. Zahvaljujući ovom festivalu, Beograd i Novi Sad su postali važne stanice u umetničkim biografijama, mesta gde se otkrivaju nove produkcije i sa jednakom pažnjom predstavljaju poznati i mladi autori. Viso- ki standardi i aktuelnost naslova učvrstili su poziciju manifestacije na međunarodnoj mapi, dok je hrabrost uvođenja različitih koreografskih rukopisa i estetike neprekidno unapređivala očekivanja publike. Predstavljajući igru kroz njene vrhunske domete, Festival je osvajao i iznova iznenađivao svoje pratioce. Tokom više od dve decenije u Srbiji je predstavljeno preko 580 koreografskih radova, a programe je svake godine u proseku pratilo oko 15.000 gledalaca. T op dance artists and troupes from around the world will come together in Belgrade and Novi Sad. These masters of movement and artisans of the most precious instruments will address topics that analyse current phenomena and society, testi- fying time and again to dance’s endless possibilities. It is thanks to this festival that Belgrade and Novi Sad have become important ports of call in the biographies of dance artists; places where new productions are discovered and where equal at- tention is paid to both renowned and emerging authors. High standards and topicality of titles have strengthened the position of this festival on the international map, while the courage to in- troduce different choreographic signatures and aesthetics has led to the expectations of the audience advancing continuously. By presenting dance through its superior scales, this festi- val has won over and continually surprised its followers. Over the course of the more than two decades of its existence, it has presented more than 580 choreographic works in Serbia, with BDF programmes watched each year by an average of 15,000 spectators.
