nology. Developed in collaboration with se- curity company Grip, the MC03 is built to reduce data harvesting and surveillance through its proprietary Apostrophy (Aphy) operating system. In contrast to tradition- al smartphones that rely on centralised cloud ecosystems, the MC03 has an integrated “Privacy Ledger” that shows how apps ac- cess user data in real-time, along with a suite of tools with end-to-end encryption for email, storage and communication. From a design perspective, the MC03 reflects Punkt’s signa- ture minimalist aesthetic by prioritising tactile functionality over gimmicks.

TWELVE SOUTH “VALET” The CES 2026 trade show saw company Twelve South present its “Valet” - a wireless charging tray covered in Nappa leather that emphasises design as much as functionali- ty. The new product is described as “a beau- tiful item for the home first, and only a so- phisticated wireless charger second”. Twelve South, which is renowned for its premium tech accessories, designed the Valet to com- pliment the home – by blending into a night- stand, desk or other furniture. The brand be- lieves that this release will help reduce clutter by offering a thoughtfully-designed space to both charge your phone and store your per- sonal essentials. The main body of the Valet is constructed from heavy zinc alloy and comes in black or taupe.
