The final goal was in third period by Dayna Bek- kers on a drive to the net set up by Abbey Blanchard. Goalie Mackenzie Beishem made several difficult saves to shut out the Sudbury Lady Wolves. MVP was Dayna Bekkers. The tournament hosted 10 teams from across the province. The PeeWee B division is 11- and 12-year-olds. Throughout the tournament the Sudbury Lady Wolves had won every game they played, while the Rus- sell Coyotes were considered underdogs going into the finals.

ETOBICOKE | The Russell Coyotes girls PeeWee B hockey team won gold at the Dolphins tournament held in Etobicoke in late October. The last game of the tournament was against the Sudbury Lady Wolves, which the Coyotes shut out 4-0. The first goal of the final game was scored by Arianne L’Ecuyer and assisted by Jaime Downey. The second was scored by Camryn Gallagher and set up by Kelsey Gagnon from the corner. The
