Lumentum to showcase QSFP28 CWDM4 optical transceiver The Lumentum 100G QSFP28 CWDM4 optical transceiver (LQ2 Series) is a full duplex, photonic-integrated optic transceiver that provides a 100G Ethernet high-speed link over 2 km of single mode fibre.
The new OP480MT multi fibre polarity tester, by Optotest Optotest have introduced a new OP480MT multi fibre polarity tester. Designed as a companion unit to the company’s OP280MT ribbon visual fault finder, the OP480MT will streamline polarity testing beyond what is currently possible with visual methods alone. The product automates testing for broken and crossed fibres with immediate and easy-to-read results.
Key features include: • Supports up to 5 dB channel insertion loss including up to 2 km of single mode fibre with FEC enabled host • Operating case temperature range of 0°C to 70°C • Hot swappable with a power dissipation < 3.5 W including Tx and Rx re-timers • Integrated CWDM TOSA/ROSA • Enabled by Lumentum 100G platform deployed in large volumes • 100G CWDM4 MSA Technical Specification Rev 1.0 compliant • QSFP28 form factor compliant with choice of pull tab or bail latch • CAUI-4 chip-to-module 100G four-lane electrical interface per IEEE 802.3 Annex 83E compliant • CLR4 option also available Stand 2200
