to volunteer on campus, to communicate in a hybrid way so that they can get to know their various volunteering options during that era. Even our traditional volunteer fair went digital. We kept ourselves self-aware and I'm happy to say that we succeeded! 3,500 of our employees contributed 55,000 volunteer hours. At the same time, I still think there is nothing like face-to-face volunteering - the intensity of emotions grows, the sense of meaningfulness increases, in the end there is nothing like human contact. Are there volunteer activities which you’ve adapted to the COVID-era which you will maintain in the future? I believe that Corona has changed the professional world significantly. I believe the key word here is customization: more people work from home, or hybrid. Chris Anderson's "long tail" theory reinforces the importance of giving freedom of choice - those who allow for more freedom will be more successful than those who settle for a limited number of hits. The beauty in volunteering comes with giving as much space and variety of activities as possible, so that each and every person can find something that connects with their own values, something that will want to get them involved. Therefore, we’ve shifted our volunteering concept and expanded it to allow for flexibility and variety, so that each person can determine for themselves their degree of involvement and their chosen activity. My degree of involvement is my choice- if it suits me to volunteer once, or several times throughout the year, if I prefer to volunteer in a specific field - Intel gives me that freedom.
