ALDWICK, NJ — D&R Waldwick, LLC , a joint ven-
ture between Dinallo Con- struction Corporation and Russo Development , held a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of Waldwick Station, a 110-unit luxury apartment community. The property is located within steps of a NJ Transit train station with access to both the Main and Bergen County Lines, and is situated in down- town Waldwick just minutes from the areas well known shopping and retail uses. Located at 41 West Prospect St., the project was built at the former DeMartini Coal and Lumber Company site which had been vacant since 2013, and a second vacant parcel acquired from NJ Transit. The project broke ground in the Fall 2016 and is a result of the successful collaboration between the developers and the Borough of Waldwick. “We are excited to open one of the rare, new apartment communities in northern Ber- gen County.” said Ed Russo , CEO of Russo Development. “Waldwick Station will be an attractive living option for nearby residents that might be downsizing, or younger adults wo want to live in a great com- munity,” said Mr. Russo. Designed by notable ar- chitectural firm Marchetto, Higgins & Stieve , Waldwick Station incorporates amenity- rich, high-quality construction and creates a unique aesthetic appeal of a downtown village train station. The residences feature modern finishes in- cluding stainless steel appli- ances, in-suite washer-dryers, and quartz countertops. Access controlled covered parking is available on the ground-level of the four-story structure, which boasts a state-of-the-art fitness center, fully-furnished entertainment clubroom and outdoor roof terrace. There is also a small retail space at the ground floor which is planned for a coffee-shop to service residents and commuters. “We are very happy to wel- come this new development to Waldwick.” said Mayor Giordano. “We look forward to all our new residents being a part of our great community. Waldwick has always been a community that is built on tradition, values and fam- ily…. may the new residents

feel they too are part of our Waldwick family.” “Recognizing a vacant indus- trial site in a downtown, and near a train station, provided the opportunity to create a prime residential use that will enhance the surrounding community,” said Donald
Dinallo , president and CEO of Dinallo Construction Cor- poration. “Waldwick Station is a symbol of those properties that may have languished for years that, with creativity and collaboration with the municipality, can be a great success.” n
