Founded in 1976 by Chris Hanson- Abbott OBE, Brigade Electronics introduced the very first reversing alarm to Europe. The Brigade Group has its headquarters in the UK and operates globally with offices in the USA, Canada, France, Germany, Netherlands, Italy and Poland and is supported by a worldwide network The C-Kore team are delighted to receive their third award in just over five years, having previously won the Queen’s Award for Enterprise for Innovation in 2019 and a Queen’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade in 2021. The company was founded to bring modern testing technology to the subsea industry and has been propelled by a dedicated and passionate team. Beyond technical acumen, C-Kore attributes its success to a relentless focus on its customers. In a challenging environment C-Kore has become a knowledgeable and dependable partner for subsea testing. C-Kore Systems’ sister company, Zetechtics Ltd, is also celebrating a King’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade 2024. For Tim Overfield, Chairman of both C-Kore Systems and Zetechtics, the celebration is extra special. With Zetechtics receiving their second award, this brings his total to five royal awards, a fitting achievement for Tim as a key figure in driving innovation in the subsea industry worldwide for many decades. C-Kore has grown significantly since being awarded its first Queen’s Award for Enterprise for Innovation in 2019. The award recognises more than 120% growth in overseas sales over the past three years, which now makes up 80% of the company’s revenue. With representatives in USA, Brazil and Nigeria, C-Kore has established new markets in both South America and Africa, whilst increasing sales to other key countries including Australia and the USA.
