The UK Carbon & Graphite Company Limited (UKCG) is focused on the production, distribution and technical service of carbon and graphite-based products to global industrial sectors, predominantly the steel industry. UKCG’s main product line is graphite electrodes, which are consumables used in an electric arc furnace during the production of secondary steel. UKCG was established in 1999 by father and son, Keith and Ben McGhee, and remains very much a family-owned business.
