“Rising towards new heights”

2 nd edition

December 2025

From the Captain’s Basket As we reflect on this past year’s journey, it’s clear that we had to navigate through unexpected storms and encountered head winds — from shifting markets and fluctuating sales volumes to evolving customer expectations and needs to

identify and implement new ways of working. Each challenge tested our resilience, direction and balance, but through teamwork, adaptability and perseverance we’ve managed to hold our balloon steady and continue to rise. Every great flight depends on a strong crew and extensive support where each of you plays a vital role in keeping us moving forward. Whether adjusting to new systems, supporting colleagues or delivering products, services and solutions for our customers, your perseverance, commitment and collaboration have helped us stay the course even in uncertain conditions. This year reminded us that steady progress often comes not from calm skies, but from our ability to work together and navigate challenges and change with confidence. We are learning to read and interpret the changing winds, weather and seasons winds more carefully, communicate more clearly and trust the strength of our team to help lift us up higher. Looking at the horizon, we see opportunity and possibility. With innovation as our compass and teamwork as our glue and lift, we’ll continue to chart new paths, explore new directions and strive to reach even greater heights together. The journey continues — and with our crew, there’s no limit to how high we can go. #TogetherWeKeepRising

BERICAP, North America

On October 2, 2025, our Burlington, ON, Canada facility achieved 13 Years with No Lost Time Accidents. This is a significant achievement in our industry and for our organization. Our goal remains, ZERO ACCIDENTS, ZERO INJURIES! We must stay focused in keeping each other safe. We encourage all our employees to SEE, SORT and REPORT unsafe conditions and improvement opportunities at BERICAP!

Congratulations to ALL 3 facilities for successfully completing registration audits for ISO14001 (Enviro) and ISO45001 (Safety). Job well done!

A “Crowning” Achievement The first modern bottle cap was invented in 1892 by William Painter. Known as the Crown Cork , it changed packaging forever — and it’s still inspiring designs today!

Billions Take Flight Over 2.7 billion bottle caps are made every single day worldwide. If you lined them up edge to edge, they’d circle the Earth several times!

Engineering in Miniature A single cap can have up to 15 built-in design features — threads, sealing rings, safety bands, and venting systems. Tiny part, huge performance!

At BERICAP, even the smallest details help us rise above the rest!"

Our story:

In the air……. Highlights from this quarter.

News from your FOOD Category Our longtime customer, Fairlife Foods, is now recognized as the #1 milk brand on the market and the #2 fastest-growing company in the Non-Alcoholic Ready-To-Drink category. They’ve carved out a strong presence on store shelves with their ultra-filtered milk and offer a popular line of ready-to-drink protein shakes under the Core Power brand, tailored specifically for fitness enthusiasts.

Since Fairlife was founded, we’ve proudly served as their #1 closure supplier. Over the past five years, our volume with them has more than tripled. We’re excited to share that this strong growth is set to continue: Bericap has been selected as the closure supplier for Fairlife’s new facility in Webster, NY. This state-of-the-art, 700,000 square foot (65,000 square meter) plant is double the size of their two existing facilities and will feature four high-speed aseptic filling lines. Line trials are scheduled to begin in October and will continue through 2026, with all four lines expected to be fully operational by then. The plant’s ramp-up will extend through 2027, resulting in a projected 30% increase in our volume by 2028.

Fairlife anticipates exponential growth ahead, with a forecast to triple their current sales by 2035. We’re proud to support their journey and celebrate our role as their most trusted closure supplier!

News from your Industrial Category

Bericap has partnered with Ecolab to bring our new Anti-Glug pour spout to market — featured on Ecolab’s Scientific Clean High Traffic Floor Finish, and more products to come, now available at Home Depot.

This collaboration showcases how our innovative closure technology delivers smoother, cleaner pouring with less spilling and more control. It’s another great example of how Bericap’s design expertise helps leading brands like Ecolab enhance user experience and sustainability.

We’re proud of this milestone and look forward to seeing our Anti-Glug solution making a difference on store shelves and in the hands of customers!

This September, Fernando Carrillo and Josh Woods joined their BERICAP peers from around the globe to participate in Drinktec 2025 in Munich Germany. Almost 60,000 people attended the show dedicated to the beverage industry which occurs every 3 years. This show provided an amazing opportunity for BERICAP team members internally to discuss global strategy, as well as meet with key stakeholders from customers, suppliers and OEM partners. While discussion topics ranged from innovation, to sustainability, and automation plans for the future, we were fortunate to discuss our growth strategy in NA with global leaders who have or are planning to award us new volume such as Fairlife, Pepsi, and Coke. Other meetings included customers like Blue Waters that we are targeting for future volume growth, and suppliers like Nova Chemicals to try to protect against future tariff threats in Canada. Overall, the show was a success for both Bericap in NA as well as for the global team. As BERICAP continues to grow globally, events such as this provide a chance for the organization to connect and showcase its talent and new innovative technology to the market.

PACK EXPO Las Vegas 2025 — A Milestone for BERICAP

At the end of September, we participated in the 30th-anniversary edition of PACK EXPO Las Vegas 2025, a flagship event that brought together more than 2,300 exhibitors showcasing the latest in packaging and processing technologies. For packaging professionals, this show is the ultimate industry immersion, combining equipment, materials, services, networking, and education under one roof. Our BERICAP commercial teams from Canada, Germany, Mexico, and the USA had a strong presence throughout the event. Over the three days, we engaged with more than 100 existing and potential customers, gaining valuable insights into current market priorities.

The key themes that resonated most strongly were:

Sustainability: lighter closures, recycled content, and mono-material designs.

Automation: seamless integration of closure design with processing lines and downstream packaging. Material Innovations: new plastic solutions tailored to evolve regulatory requirements and brand needs. With the high level of booth traffic and meaningful discussions, it’s clear that BERICAP is increasingly recognized as a strong player in the North American closure market. The event provided direct access to decision-makers across multiple verticals, including food & beverage, personal care, and pharmaceuticals this creating valuable leads for the next months. Our alignment with the key industry trends positions us well to convert this interest into tangible business opportunities. Moving forward, we will build on this momentum by strengthening our North America-specific messaging reinforcing that BERICAP is not only a global leader but also a locally committed and service-oriented partner. The 2025 edition of PACK EXPO was a true success for BERICAP delivering visibility, connections, and a clear sense of where the industry is headed and how we’re poised to grow with it.

Let’s keep the momentum going!

Hello from BERICAP Utah! The energy here has been incredible, and the hard work from teams across the global BERICAP network is truly paying off. Thanks to the combined effort of so many talented people, the Utah Project is moving full speed ahead and we’re excited to share that we remain on track to begin production in November as planned. A huge thank-you to everyone involved in making this happen. We were able to land, assemble, and install the machine in record time. That would not have been possible without the dedication and coordination of numerous teams. A special shoutout to our colleagues in South Carolina, who put in tremendous effort disassembling the downstream equipment and mold, completing PMs, and handling all necessary repairs before shipping the equipment. Thanks to the prep work completed in SC and to the team members who traveled out to Utah, we were able to get the downstream installed, running, and setting the UT team up for success starting day one. The photo you see represents only a small fraction of the people who have contributed to bringing this project to life. Every hand involved across the BERICAP Global network has made a difference. Thank you again to all who have supported the Utah Project. Your teamwork and dedication are building something great here!

In September our Leadership team met in Ann Arbor as part of our commitment to developing talent and supporting career progression and reinforcing our Talent Strategy. We successfully completed our annual Talent Review for 2025.

Our focus continues to be: • Developing high-potential employees • Supporting career growth and internal mobility • Strengthening succession planning • Ensuring we have the right talent in place to support future business needs.

Lots of meaningful and impactful discussions, but since we also like to have a little fun, we had a caricature artist draw our portraits. We can all agree they were spot on!
