And, while it’s good to be extra vigilant on days when people are more likely to be drinking, accidents with drunk drivers can happen any time. Even though it’s illegal, drunk driving kills almost 30 people every day due to auto accidents. Here are a few ways you can stay safe.

INGREDIENTS

• 1 ripe avocado, peeled, pitted, and cubed • 1 ripe mango, peeled, pitted, and cubed • 12 cherry tomatoes, cut in half

• 1 tbsp olive oil • 1 tbsp fresh lemon or lime juice • 1⁄4 tsp salt • 1⁄4 tsp black pepper

DIRECTIONS

1. In a large bowl, place the avocado, mango, and tomatoes and gently stir with the large spoon. 2. Drizzle with the oil and lemon or lime juice. Add salt and pepper to taste. 3. Cover and refrigerate up to 4 hours, or serve right away over grains or greens.
