We would like to thank Tom Roberts and Barry Slayton of West Plains, MO for their years of service on the New Day board. The commitment and guidance have allowed the New Day program flourish into what it is today. Although no longer board members expect the Slayton red bulls to be featured and every spring for years to come, and Tom to be the cook on sale day.
NEW DAY GENETICS FEEDER CATTLE, LLC
New Day Genetics is proud to announce the formation of a new and separate company, New Day Genetics Feeder Cattle, LLC.
This company was founded with the primary goal of providing customer service and support through bidding on and purchasing calves sired by New Day Genetics Bulls.
Here’s a few things to know about New Day Feeder Cattle, LLC.
• If greater than 50% of your bull battery/calf crop is from New Day Genetics, we are very interested in knowing when and where you sell your calves! • We require calves to follow the New Day Genetics Feeder Cattle pre-conditioning and tagging requirements. We will still offer New Day Genetics influenced special calf sales and hope to expand these offerings in the future, however, calves selling at non-special sales still qualify. • We will return any data captured on cattle we purchase. While our intent is not to own the cattle through harvest, we believe we can capture a great deal of health and performance data, and hopefully some carcass data as well. • For more information and details contact Ted Cunningham, 573-453-0058.
