BIEN is run by students who have previously studied abroad through Gies College of Business programs, or plan to study abroad in the future. Members serve as ambassadors for the exchange students prior to their arrival as well as once they arrive on campus. They also organize cultural and social events throughout the semester to help the exchange students acclimate to life at UIUC.
