Rev. Paul Myers “First Mate Bob’*

THE GOOD SHIP GRACE Fellow Broadcasters of the Gospel One of the Gospel radio programs which has been notably successful in its ministry on the Pacific Coast is the Haven of Rest in Hollywood. Led by Paul Myers (First Mate Bob) and his musical crew, Kenneth Nelson, first tenor; Charles Turner, second tenor; Robert Bowman, baritone and Ernest Payne, bass, t h i s program carrying “Words of Life on Wings of Melody” enters thousands of homes in the Midwest and Pacific Coast areas of our land. The Bible Institute on the Air is greatly interested in the Haven of Rest because, on most radio stations, we occupy a "strip” - together: that is, the Bible? Institute on the Air broadcasts Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and the Haven of Rest broad casts Tuesday, Thursday and Satur day. Thus a continuity of religious broadcasting is maintained through the entire week at the same hour daily. .In the recent expansion into the cities of the Middlewest, these two broadcasts have gone together, thus furnishing a variety of programs, with the same story of the Gospel of God’s grace as found in Jesus Christ. We pray for God's richest blessing to rest upon “First Mate Bob” and his^ gallant crew. May they be given many opportunities to send the melo dies of Heaven into needy hearts.

The “ Crew” s Nelson , Turner 8 Bowman , Payne
