2022 Community Interest and Opinion Survey

NPD Park/Facility Satisfaction

Recent users/visitors of NPD parks and facilities express increasingly favorable satisfaction with these experiences (significantly higher from 2017).

 A majority are now “completely satisfied” (scores of 9 and 10 on a 0-10 scale) across each attribute, and the average ratings are consistently about ½ a point higher vs. 2017 scores.  The District scores highest on overall safety, followed closely by cleanliness/upkeep and one’s overall experience.  The lowest (but still very positive) ratings for “service from Park District staff” are mostly due to a large number of neutral ratings (suggesting many visitors could not offer an opinion if they did not engage with staff during recent visits).
