COVID Impact on NPD Usage (Since Early 2020)
Those who report increased visits to District park and outdoor locations during COVID tend to be younger and newer residents, households with children, Asian Americans, and residents in the SE region. By comparison, older residents and those living in the two West regions tend to report reduced visits to outdoor assets curing COVID. The changes in indoor facility usage were generally consistent across subgroups (aside from race).
