2022 Community Interest and Opinion Survey

Need/Interest in Outdoor Facilities

When asked about outdoor facilities, demand is now even stronger for walking/biking trails and picnic areas/shelters compared to five years ago. Open and natural space also ranks among the top three outdoor amenities.  The remaining outdoor features are of interest or in demand to about one in five residents.  Interest in outdoor pickleball courts has increased three-fold since 2017, and likewise demand for an outdoor refrigerated ice rink has nearly doubled (thought still ranked lower overall).
