Appendix F
2022 Community Interest and Opinion Survey
Need/Interest in Outdoor Facilities
When asked about outdoor facilities, demand is now even stronger for walking/biking trails and picnic areas/shelters compared to five years ago. Open and natural space also ranks among the top three outdoor amenities. The remaining outdoor features are of interest or in demand to about one in five residents. Interest in outdoor pickleball courts has increased three-fold since 2017, and likewise demand for an outdoor refrigerated ice rink has nearly doubled (thought still ranked lower overall).
