Appendix F: Template Program Matrix
Recreational experiences developed and offered by the District will be consistent with its Mission, Vision, Philosophy, Goals, Objectives, and Core Values. Programs and services are evaluated against the mission of the District. Leader-directed programs also are evaluated against core values, and in most cases must meet a minimum of 3 core value areas to remain a viable District offering. Programs that do not meet a minimum of 3 core values either will be restructured or eliminated/not offered. Existing programs will be measured against cohorts to determine gaps in programming. Consideration will be given to community demographics and past age segment participant data. The District’s Program Matrix is a tool utilized to analyze existing programs. A template of the matrix can be found on the following pages. The matrix categories includes the following:
