Planning Area 4 Area 4 is located in north-central Naperville east of the DuPage River. The boundaries of Area 4 consist of Washington Street and the West Branch of the DuPage River to the west, the Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Railway line to the north, Park District boundaries to the east, and 75th street to the south. Area 4 is 4.97 square miles. 2020 Census Population (Estimated): 19,487 Existing Open Space: 102.86 Acres
Area 4 contains the eastern portion of the Central Business District and the campus of North Central College. The area consists of largely residential use, mostly single family homes, with pockets of offices and commercial strips. The area carries historical significance between the residences and land uses. Naperville Country Club is located in the northern portion of this area, offering private golf recreation opportunity.
