Hiranandani Fortune City | Newsletter - March 2020

Hues of blues, yellows, pinks, violets and whites are sprinkled throughout the sea of greens that we have come to love. With many varieties of shrubs shepherded in our own nursery, ‘Gole’ as he is fondly called has managed to nd that perfect concoction of imported varieties with the native ora. Irrigation systems, soil harvesting, and plant-root management have all been thought beforehand to deliver a product that stands true to the legacy of Hiranandani. A major challenge faced by our construction teams was to handle the ow of water judiciously. Paucity of it will result in drying up of ower beds and excess of it will damage the plants. To achieve a permanent solution, the construction team led by Mr. Pravin Mewada and guided by our head of construction, Mr. Cyrus Pitthawala and the horticulture team have come together to create an indigenous water irrigation system, that provides just about the right amount of water required for the ora on a daily basis. The system not only prevents excess water usage, but it also conserves about 60-70% daily water usage.
