Primary Interschool Sports

The 5/6 Interschool Sport program for Term 1 has now concluded, marking the end of a successful and engaging season for participating students. Throughout the Term, students had the opportunity to represent their school in weekly Friday morning matches across three sports: cricket, soccer and basketball. These sessions provided valuable experiences in teamwork, skill development and sportsmanship, while also encouraging active participation and healthy competition. Students demonstrated commitment and enthusiasm each week, contributing to a positive sporting environment and showcasing improvement in both individual and team performance. The consistent involvement across the Term highlights the importance of sport in building confidence, resilience and cooperation among students. Congratulations are extended to all students who participated, as well as staff who supported the organisation and supervision of the program. Their efforts ensured the smooth running of each session and contributed to an enjoyable experience for all involved. Looking ahead, Term 2 promises another exciting round of interschool sport. Students will have the opportunity to participate in netball, AFL and handball, continuing to build their skills and represent their school with pride.

Across all matches, students showed impressive skill development, with each team improving over the course of the day and producing some excellent rallies. Interschool sport continues to be a valuable part of school life, providing opportunities for students to compete, connect and support one another. Well done to all students on a fantastic Term 1 of sport, and we look forward to another successful season in Term 2.
