ART ENRICHMENT ON PRIMARY

This Term the Primary Campus proudly launched a new Art Enrichment Program, giving young passionate artists an exciting opportunity to extend and develop their skills further and express themselves creatively through a range of engaging art experiences. It has been a joy watching students take creative risks, discover new techniques and grow in confidence as independent artists. Stay tuned for an upcoming Mini art exhibition that will showcase students’ wonderful learnings and the stories behind their creative choice!

These photos capture our young artists deeply engaged in their creative process.

STUDENTS’ REFLECTIONS:

I’m enjoying making art constantly. I’m making a blind bag with my friend. I’m learning that if you keep trying, you’ll always get it right – Eleftheria 4A

What I’m liking about the art enrichment club is that I’m getting extra time to make art with my friends. I’m learning how to use different art techniques to make different artworks and show my friends and ask for their opinions – Matzu 3B I’m enjoying meeting new friends and learning how to sculpt clay. This is the best club ever! - Anorah 3A I’m liking that it is fun. You can build things with boxes or clay or anything. I’m enjoying that I got to use clay and sculpt a duck. I’m learning that it’s not easy to make a duck with clay. I had to use my hands a lot to make it. I had a few failures but I was able to make a random head which turned out to be a duck – Emily 3A

I’m making this character from a popular game. I made it with clay and I keep on messing it up. The head keeps on falling apart so I am putting wire in the head and the body so it can stick – Ray 4B

I’m making my own version of Pokémon. It’s called Charmander. I drew the idea of my character from different Pokémon’s. I am using cardboard, paper, tape, glue and paint to create it – Bea 4B
