In California, MADD provided supportive services to drunk and drugged driving victims to help them cope with the devastating impact of substance-impaired driving crashes. When tragedy strikes, victims need support. MADD prides itself on being one of the largest victim services organizations in the country. Part of those services includes ensuring a victim’s rights are maintained. From making a victim impact statement to notification of offender status, victims have rights thanks to the Victim Rights Act of 2004.
