In the dazzling chronicles of 2023, Richards House embarked on a glorious odyssey captained by the indomitable Michael Li and his gallant band of Year 13 virtuosos. A symphony of transformation echoed through the hallowed halls, heralding the grandest metamorphosis the House had ever witnessed. The year unfurled its vibrant tapestry with the exuberant arrival of 10 spirited Year 9 lads, welcomed in true Richards House style with a traditional barbecue and a sun-drenched Sunday of camaraderie before the official commencement of College. The air was abuzz with excitement as we mingled with the boys and their parents, forging bonds that would resonate throughout the year. Mentors, the unsung heroes of our narrative, played an instrumental role in shaping relationships, cultivating goals, and providing unwavering support to our boys. A
weekly rendezvous with mentor groups became a sacred academic growth space infused with individual guidance, group discussions, decadent cake baking, hot chocolate sipping, and hearty chats. The radiant feedback from our mentors, a chorus of affirmation, echoed their invaluable role in nurturing our boys' needs. INTERHOUSE EVENTS As Term 2 unfolded its splendid wings, the House witnessed the crystallisation of bonds that transcended mere camaraderie. House sports competitions transformed into a vibrant tapestry of inclusivity, where seniors took pride in managing teams to ensure everyone had a chance to shine.
