Round Square International Week Round Square International Week brought about another opportunity for the House to demonstrate its wide array of skills, this time in the international cake-decorating competition. Each House was given a country and had to create and decorate its cake to represent the given country. Our cake was 'Ireland'. Not to be outdone the team of Charles Smith, Arthur Brown, Hugo Trolove, Fergus McCone, and Jono Simpson set to work creating a shamrock cake. Unbeknown to the rest of the competitors or the judges, the team had come up with a cunning plan to wow the panel – Jamie Ireland. With the cake being Ireland themed, the boys came up with a wonderful idea to put Jamie’s face onto the cake to truly reflect what 'Irelands' are all about. This proved to be a masterful stroke as the team walked away with 1st prize.

A warm round of applause for all these boys.
To close out Term 3, there were two more interhouse events – the House Haka and cross-country events. House Haka The whole House looks forward to the House Haka and the boys practised with great gusto. After several well-run coaching sessions, the House delivered a very credible effort but, unfortunately, did not place. A special 'thank you' to both Harry Hanson and the Benji Nation for helping to run this event. I would also be remiss not to mention the job that Benji did as the lead of the haka. Kia kaha Benji, this is not an easy job. Cross country Term 3 came to a close with the running of the interhouse cross country. The boys represented the House well, with special mentions going to Hugo Grigg for placing
