CULTURE Junior Production – Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Jr.
The year was rounded out by the wonderful sounds of beloved music in the Old Boys’ Theatre. When the production was announced earlier in the year, many students told us how excited their parents were and this became clear when the production was sold out two weeks before the first performance. With a talented cast and crew of almost 70 students from Christ’s
College and Rangi Ruru Girls’ School, we knew that we were in for something special. They worked exceptionally hard on all areas of the production, from singing, dancing, and acting, to lighting, sound, and special effects. We were thrilled to have Paul Harris and the HIGGS Construction team on board to build the star of the show – Chitty the car. Thanks must
also go to our technical gurus, Jacob Patchett and Jack Lanham, who made all of the magic happen with lighting, sound, and microphones. We are very lucky to have a team of experts supporting the students and giving our productions a
